Executive Chef Chris Heath
Chef Heath brings a trifecta of passion, experience and technical knowledge to Biltmore Farms Hotels Food & Beverage. He served most recently as the Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne. As a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in 1992, Chef Heath has held leadership positions in well-respected Florida and Georgia establishments including Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Restaurant, Tampa Bay Brewing Co., Lake Region Yacht and Country Club, and Linger Longer Steakhouse at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee.
Chef Heath chose to return to his culinary and family roots by moving to North Carolina. Born in Mount Airy, his first love as a Chef is the celebration of authentic, local ingredients from heirloom tomatoes to newly dug ramps to free range chickens. Whether cooking for his wife and three children, or you and 120 of your colleagues – Chef Chris delights in creating a dish that feels both familiar and exquisitely surprising.
